Sure. It's clipped from a photo I took last March of an ice plant just outside my back door. The thumbnail leads to the full-sized original.

Angela--

Where did you get that recipe for repellent? I can't imagine that it would work. It might give them diarrhea but that's about it.

As for the babies, skunks usually have a small litter early in the spring, depending on your location. By now it's late enough that you don't have to worry about the babies taking care of themselves.

I'd try the flour or sand trick, and see if they're really still living there. If so, bomb the area with household ammonia or throw a handful of mothballs under there. Once you get it out, block the area off so they can't get back in.

Let me know how you make out.

I have a question. How do you know that if the skunk had babies or not? We have had a skunk under our shed for about two months. We tried the homemade repelent (dish detergent, warm water and castoil and that didn't work. So we had to pay someone to come out and set up a live trap. That was out there for about two weeks and of course that didn't work but we know that it is still there because we have put cat food out and it has been eaten and we filled in the wholes were it is going in at but then by morning it has gone through it and back under the shed. Now we have a trap set that will kill it and that has been there for about a week and nothing. I really don't want to kill it. I just want to get rid of it because my 4 year old won't go out and play because of it. I was just wondering if she (if it is a she) had her babies and she is not leaving. I need help!!!
